what's all the fuss about sam raimi's "the evil dead" got it the other day, and except for a few funny effects, and the amazing final shot, i wasn't impressed much...
give me "night of the living dead" any day

I think the important thing is Evil Dead was first, and so what came later was better BECAUSE Evil dead drew a line in the sand

But more importantly, I dont give a shit what you think about it, or what was better OR not, or Not even the same genre/type of film

I might be intrested in how they did the final shot, or how you did the same thing with a cable and a basket and some duct tape.

My brother showed it to me when I was six, and it scarred me for life.
I love it cos watching it reminds me of what it was like to actually be scared by horror films - not many do so now , I'm too cynical.
